Circumcision

Purpose: To provide families an option for circumcision for those families who elect the procedure outside of the hospital setting. Reminder: this is considered an elective procedure, the proposed medical benefits are the same as the medical risks of the procedure
Who: Newborns between 2-10 days old (approximate weight 6-11 pounds) who have received vitamin K injected intramuscularly at least 24 hours before the procedure
Where: In-home (if within service area, 30 minutes from Olathe, KS) or at KC Well Nest
Service: Gomco clamp circumcision with topical and injected lidocaine
Fees^: Due at the time of service via cash, bank account, Venmo, or credit/debit card. 
Procedure: $450
Home visit fee for in-home: $150
^Mindful Pediatrics, Growing Pediatrics and Wellness Pediatrics members receive $100 discount
